Symptoms
You specify the ImageConsolidation device information setting for HTML renderer in the RSReportServer.config file in your instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Reporting Service (SSRS 2012) or SSRS 2014. However, this setting is not honored when you view the report in a web browser.
Note The same device information setting works as expected when it is passed through a URL access.
Resolution
This issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
