About this update

Update information
To enable this update, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update. More information
You can enable blocked outdated ActiveX controls to run on sites that you trust by tapping or clicking the Run this time button on the out-of-date ActiveX control blocking notification. However, currently, if the ActiveX control that you want to load is in an iframe, tapping or clicking the Run this time button does not run the control as expected. Update to block out-of-date ActiveX controls in Internet Explorer.
This update resolves this issue and enables expected functionality for the Run this time button. Tapping or clicking the Run this time button will now enable all blocked ActiveX controls on a provided site to run on a one-time basis, regardless of whether the controls are in iframes or not.
