FIX: A workflow never starts in a SharePoint 2013 environment when you use SQL Server 2012 or 2014 Master Data Services to start the workflow

Symptoms
You configure Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or 2014 Master Data Services (MDS) to start a custom workflow or a Microsoft SharePoint 2013 workflow by following the instructions in the following article:


However, the workflow never starts in a SharePoint 2013 environment.

Cumulative Update information

This issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server:
Recommendation: Install the latest cumulative update for SQL Server
