FIX: SubscriptionStreams parameter is ignored by the Distribution Agent when you use transactional replication in SQL Server 2014

Symptoms
Assume that you use transactional replication in Microsoft SQL Server 2014. When you specify the SubscriptionStreams parameter by using Distribution Agent profiles, the parameter is ignored by the Distribution Agent.

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server 2014:

You can run the following query on the subscriber server to view the number of threads that were spawned by the Distribution Agent:
Select program_name,* from master..sysprocesses where program_name like '%DistributionAGent_Program_Name%'
Note If you aren't aware of the DistributionAGent_Program_Name, you can replace it with the publication name.
