The Windows Embedded Compact 7 Monthly Update (December 2015) is now available from Microsoft. To download this Windows Embedded Compact 7 monthly update, go to the following Microsoft Download Center website:
Windows Embedded Compact 7 updatesThe kind of processor to which each file applies is visible in the name of each file in the "File information" section.
Prerequisites
This update is supported only if all previous updates for this product are installed.

In Windows Embedded Compact 7, the ClientMinKeyBitLength registry entry that's introduced in KB3061518 is located in the following registry path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL
Restart requirement
After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:

On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.

On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
You don't have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
