Symptoms
Assume that you have installed Cumulative Update 1 (CU1) or later versions of cumulative updates for SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 1 (SP1). When you use the SELECT…INTO statement to retrieve data from a clustered columnstore index and insert the data into a new table, the result is incorrect. For example, the number of rows may be much less than the actual row count.

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. We recommend that you download and install the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:
