NDR after you accept or decline a meeting request in Exchange 2013
After you connect to Exchange Server 2013 by using an online mode profile, you may receive a non-delivery report (NDR) after you click Accept
on a new meeting request.
For example, consider the following scenario:
- The server is running Exchange Server 2013 with Cumulative Update 9 or a later cumulative update applied.
- Your Outlook client is configured to use an online mode profile.
- You accept or decline a new incoming meeting request.
In this scenario, you receive an NDR for the meeting update that was sent to the meeting organizer. Additionally, the organizer receives the following error message:
NDR 554 5.6.0 STOREDRV.Submit.Exception:TextConvertersException.
This issue occurs because RTF attributes for the meeting item disrupt correct handling of the message's native body.
To work around this issue, switch your Outlook profile from online mode to cached mode. Then, you can accept or decline meeting requests without receiving the NDR.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
