Task sequences or programs have an incorrect status in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager

Symptoms
After the Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Client Service (Ccmexec.exe) is restarted, the status of task sequences or programs can incorrectly switch from Waiting for the next available maintenance schedule to Waiting to install in Software Center. This issue occurs only for packages that have a maintenance window that is set to run in the future.
Resolution

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have Cumulative Update 3 for System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 2 and System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1.
