Product Update feature doesn't update SQL Server Setup support files during non-English slipstreamed installation of SQL Server 2016
Consider the following scenario:
- You install a non-English version of SQL Server 2016 by using the graphical user interface (GUI).
- You use the Product Update feature to perform a slipstreamed installation.
- You use the release version of SQL Server 2016 together with the GDR update.
In this scenario, the installation does not update the SQL Server Setup support files correctly. Additionally, you don't receive any error messages in this scenario.
