The "BackgroundColor" property is not respected when it is specified by an expression in SQL Server 2016 Reporting Services
Consider the following scenario:
You use SQL Server 2016 Report Builder to create a Reporting Services report that contains a text box. You configure the BackgroundColor property of the text box to use an expression such as the following: ="Blue" You publish the report to a Reporting Services server.
In this scenario when you open the report in a web browser, the text box does not have the correct background color that is specified by the expression.
