Creating or updating statistics takes a long time on a large memory-optimized table in SQL Server 2016
When you use memory-optimized tables in Microsoft SQL Server 2016, it takes a long time to create or update statistics on a large memory-optimized table that has a columnstore index. Similarly, it might take a very long time to compile a query on the table if the automatic update statistics option AUTO_UPDATE_STATISTICS is turned on.
