FIX: Heavy concurrent OLTP activity runs slowly when delayed durability is enabled in SQL Server 2016

Assume that you run heavy concurrent Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) activity in Microsoft SQL Server 2016. In this situation, when the delayed durability is enabled in the presence of multiple log writers, the activity runs slower than it does in earlier versions of SQL Server .

Note The slow performance is only present with multiple log writers and delay durability.

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server: Recommendation: Install the latest cumulative update for SQL Server
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. We recommend that you download and install the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:
