FIX: Error message when you view a SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services report that contains more than one subreport: "Error: Subreport could not be shown"

Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 fix release.
SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. A Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services report contains more than one dataset. The report also contains a data region that contains a subreport. The subreport contains a top-level subreport and a data region that contains at least one subreport. When you view thereport, you receive the following error message:
Error: Subreport could not be shown.
