Some extensions change browser settings like your default search engine, new tab page, and other types of site data. To prevent extensions from changing the preferences you set up when you installed Microsoft Edge , the browser automatically turns off extensions that might change your preferred settings.
You can change settings for your extensions at any time.
To turn on an extension:

At the top corner of the browser, select Settings and more > Extensions.

In the Extensions popup window, select Manage extension.

Locate the extension you'd like to turn on, then select the toggle to turn it on.
