On the page where you'd like to add a watermark, select the Design tab, and choose
Watermark. -
Right-click one of the watermarks and select Insert at Current Document Position.
Adding a watermark to one page isn't currently possible in Word for the web. You can, however, add a watermark to one page in the Word desktop app.

To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select Editing > Open in Desktop App.

Adding a watermark to one page isn't currently possible in Word for Mac. However, here's a workaround to try.

On the Insert tab, select Picture and choose an image for the page.

Size the image to full page using the handles on the picture.

On the Picture Format tab, select Transparency and set it to 80%.

In the Arrange group, select Wrap Text and choose Behind Text and Fix Position on Page.
You can also select Send to Back in the Arrange group. -
Type or paste text over the image.
