Use TTEST to determine whether two samples are likely to have come from the same two underlying populations that have the same mean.
-
Go to Formulas, select More Functions, and choose Statistical > T.TEST.
-
For Array1, type or select the cells for the first set of data. Do the same in Array2 to specify the second set.
-
For Tails, type 1 for a one-tailed distribution, or type 2 for a two-tailed.
-
For Type, specify the type of t-test to perform. For example, type 1 for paired, 2 for two-sample equal variance, or 3 for two-sample unequal variance.
For more info, see T.TEST function.
