In classic Outlook, go to File and select Options.

Choose Mail and under Message arrival, select or clear Play a sound, or other notifications.

Select OK to save your changes.

In new Outlook, on the View tab, selectÂ
 View settings. -
Select General > Notifications.

If you want reminders from new Outlook​​​​​​​, at the top, turn on Notifications in Outlook.

Under Notify me about, choose when and how you want to be notified.Â
Note: A desktop notification is a small window that appears near the Windows taskbar. The notifications pane appears on the right side of the Outlook window when you go to the right side of the app title bar and select  Notifications.
