Characters are garbled in email body

ISSUE

You received an email with an attachment and the body of the email contains garbled text and is unreadable.

STATUS: WORKAROUND

If the sender of the email is using Norton Security for Mac version 8.6.3 or newer, it is possible that Vulnerability Protection may be blocking these messages and it is recommended that you or the sender contact Norton Security to report the issue.

The sender can temporarily disable Vulnerability Protection by following the step provided by Norton here.
