In classic Outlook, select File, and then choose Office Account.

 Update Options and then select  Update Now.This option checks for updates and applies them. Doing an update in any Microsoft 365 app will update all installed Office apps.

In Outlook for Mac​​​​​​​, go to the Help menu, and then choose Check For Updates.

The new Outlook for Windows notifies you when an updated version of the app is available: In the upper right corner of the window, a badge appears on the Notifications button.

Select the Notifications button to open the Notifications pane.

If an item says, "An update is available," select the item to restart and update Outlook.Â
If you prefer to wait, Outlook will update itself the next time you close the app and then start it again.
