  1. Select the cells you want to format.

  2. Go to the Home tab, select  Conditional formatting button Conditional Formatting and choose  Conditional formatting new rule button New Rule.

  3. Choose Format only cells that contain. Input the desired conditions.

  4. Select Format and go to the Fill tab. Choose the colors and effects for your data.
