If you've crafted the perfect project in Project for the web and want to reuse it, you can create a copy.

  1. Select the project name to open project details.

  2. Above the project name, select the three dots (...) and then choose Copy project.

Screen shot of choosing the three dots then "Copy project" in the Project details pane.

You'll now be working in the newly copied project, which is named "[Project Name] - Copy".

Everything has been copied from the original project to the copied project except the project's Group members and assignments. When you're ready, you may want to:

  • Rename your project: Select the project's name, and then, in the project details pane, type a new name and choose Enter.

  • Share your project with others by assigning tasks and creating or adding a group: To find out how, see Share a project and assign tasks
