Curve or bend text

1. On the Insert tab, select   WordArt and choose a text style.

2. Type text in the box that appears.

3. On the Shape Format tab, select   Text Effects and choose   Transform.

4. Select a curve or bend style, grab the frame of the text to move it or a corner to resize.

Tip: Select  Wrap Text on the Shape Format tab to wrap text around the curved WordArt.

Bending text isn't currently possible in Word for the web. You can, however, bend text with WordArt in the Word desktop app.

• To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select Editing > Open in Desktop.
