Is the program open on your computer? You can only share an open program. If it is open, then it must be one of the following programs that cannot be shared. To share content from the program, use desktop sharing instead.

Also, program sharing isn’t available if you’re conducting your meeting on a remote computer running Windows Vista, or an older version of Windows Server 2008.
Tip: Sharing Windows Media Player in a meeting isn’t recommended. If you need to play a video during a meeting, insert it in a PowerPoint file and share this file.
