In classic Outlook, choose a message and select Home > Tags >Â

To flag the message, select an option for when you want to be reminded.

To remove the flag, select Clear Flag.

To add a reminder, select Follow Up >
 Add Reminder. Enter the date and time for the reminder dialog box to appear. To add reminders to outgoing mail, see Add a reminder to an outgoing message.

In new Outlook, in the message list, Ctrl+click a message to select it.

On the Home tab, selectÂ
 Flag / Unflag, then choose one of these options:Option

Today
A task with a start and due date of today
Tomorrow
A task with a start and due date of tomorrow
This week
A task to start in two days and be due at the end of the work week
Next week
A task for next week
No date
A task that's flagged, but without a start or due date
