Live chat helps small businesses give quick and helpful customer service. With live chat in Teams, businesses can chat with customers that have contacted them through their website in their Teams account.
Respond to customer chats:
Once live chat is set up on your account, you’ll get a notification in Teams when there's a new incoming chat request.

Select the Customer Connect notification to view the request. In addition to their question, the request includes customer details, and a unique request number.

Reply to the customer's question to begin chatting.
You can also change who is working on the request or update the ticket's status from the chat.
Locate previous customer chats
Requests and conversations are stored in the Live chat requests Team dashboard.
To access the dashboard, go to the Live chat requests Team, then go to its general channel. You can also view customer requests in the pinned customer request dashboard.
