Where to find Communities (beta) in Teams on Windows 11?

Select Chat from the Windows 11 taskbar.

Select the Open Teams
button.
Note: You can also select Windows Start and search for Microsoft Teams to open.

Select Community from the app bar.
How to start a new community post?

Select Community from the app bar.

Select the community from Your communities list.

Select Post.

Add a subject and message.
Note: You also have the ability to include files, emojis, or GIFs to your new community post.

Select Post to share with the community.
How to start a new community announcement?

Select Community from the app bar.

Select Announcement.

Type a headline, set headline color, add subheading, and message for the announcement.

How to share a community join link?

Select Community from the app bar.

Select the community from Your communities list you would like to share.

Select Copy link, the share link will be copied to your clipboard.

Open your preferred app or email you would like to share from and paste the link to share.
