Follow allows you to have participants on a whiteboard follow your point of view as you move around the canvas to discuss and make edits. It's a great way to present material created on Whiteboard, as well as guide participants through activities and sessions.
Invite users to follow your view:
To have participants follow you as you navigate through a whiteboard:

Select your profile icon in the top right-hand corner of Whiteboard

Select “Everyone follow me”

An invite is then sent to participants on the whiteboard to follow your view. If no response is received after 20 seconds they will automatically start following you.

Stop the follow session at any time by selecting your profile icon or through the notification that will appear at the bottom of the screen.
If you have collaboration cursors on, you will continue to see participants cursors but only yours will display to them. Participants will still be able to edit and explore the Whiteboard on their own while a Follow session is in progress. An option to resume following is provided so they can join back in at any time.
Follow can be initiated using Whiteboard in Teams or the web application on desktop devices.
Follow a user's view:
For participants:

After a user starts a follow session, you will receive an invitation to follow.

Accept the invite to begin following immediately.

Decline the invite if needing additional time to finish what you’re doing. An option will appear at the bottom of the screen so you can start following when you’re ready.

If no response is received, you will automatically start following after 20 seconds.

You will still be able to edit and explore the Whiteboard while a Follow session is in progress by interacted with the whiteboard. An option to resume following is provided at the bottom of the screen to easily join back in.
The participant experience is available on Teams, web, desktop, mobile and meeting room devices.
