Tip: You can select the group's avatar (profile picture), then select Polls to view active polls.

  2. Select New poll  Poll button

  3. Select Create New Poll.

  4. Type the poll question in the Ask a question field, then add the poll options. You can select Add  Add button to include more options, up to a maximum of 10.

  5. Select a date and time for the poll to end.

  6. Select create  Send button to add the poll to the group.

Note: You can’t change the poll options after the poll is created.

Everyone in the group will receive a notification when the poll is created and can access the poll in the chat. To vote in a poll, select Vote and choose your preferred option.

After voting, select View results to view how others are voting. You can also change your vote as many times as you want before the poll ends by selecting Change my vote.

Ending a poll:

A reminder notification will be sent to the group 5 minutes before the poll is scheduled to end, and another will be sent when the poll has ended. To end a poll before its scheduled end time, select End now, then End to confirm.

Note: You can only do this if you created the poll.
