Flagging email messages helps you keep track of replies to your messages and follow up on messages from others. You can also add a reminder alert to any flagged message.
Flag and Reminders
Flag an email:
Select the flag icon in an email message to make it a to-do item. The flag turns red.
Or for more details, right-click on the email message and select Flag.
Set a reminder on the flagged email:

Right-click on the flagged email, hover over Flag, then select Add Reminder to open the menu.

In the Set Date and Reminder window, select a Start .

Click on the Reminder drop-down menu, you can choose Custom option to add a reminder date and time.

When you’re finished, select Save. Reminders show in the reading pane.
