Because the dogfood build is not publicly available within the app store, users must download the app from Microsoft in order to install it. Since the release of iOS 9, Apple has added some additional security measures that help prevent malicious apps from being installed onto a user's device. This may cause users to see an error saying that an application is not trusted, and therefore cannot be run on their device until the application manufacturer is marked as a trusted developer.

Fortunately, there's a very easy way to fix this! Here's what you'll need to do on each of your iOS devices:

  1. Download the dogfood version of Outlook for iOS from here: https://aka.ms/hockey.

  2. Once the app is downloaded, return to your home screen and open the iOS Settings app.

  3. Tap on General, then Profiles & Device Management.

  4. Under Enterprise App, tap Microsoft Corporation.

  5. Tap Trust Microsoft Corporation; at the top of the screen.

(More information on how installing custom enterprise apps can be found here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204460)

Once complete, you should be able to return back to your iOS home screen and open the dogfood app. Please let us know what you think!
