In the message you're composing in classic Outlook, put your cursor where you want to insert the picture.

Select Insert > Pictures.
Note: You won't see the Insert tab on the toolbar if your draft email message is located in the Reading Pane. To change that, in your message pane, select Pop Out to open the message in a separate window.

On the Pictures menu, select This Device (to select an image from your computer), Stock Images, or Online Pictures.

Choose the image you want, then select Insert.
Tip: You can also insert image you've copied to the clipboard: Position your cursor, then press Ctrl+V on your keyboard.Â
You can insert a picture from your computer in new Outlook:
