Select a cell inside a table or PivotTable.

Go to Insert and select Slicer.

Select the checkboxes for the fields you want to display and select OK.

Filtering with a Slicer isn't currently possible in Excel for the web. You can, however, filter with a Slicer in the Excel desktop app.

To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select Editing > Open in Desktop App.
