ISSUE

When you insert online videos from Vimeo into PowerPoint for Windows, you receive the error "Browser is no longer supported" or !!ERROR!! message in the insert online videos dialog preview.

This occurs in PowerPoint (Win32).

STATUS: WORKAROUND

We are in the process of fixing the problem.

  1. If the app shows the "Browser is no longer supported", proceed with inserting the video when the app shows the browser is not supported message. The problem doesn’t persist during playback in the Edit and Slideshow views.

  2. We do not have a workaround for the !!ERROR!! issue, but our initial investigations show that the issue only happens to Vimeo videos with unlisted permissions.
