Space between shapes

Specifies the amount of space between placeable shapes when you use the Lay Out Shapes command.

Average shape size

Specifies the average size of the shapes in your drawing. Also sets the average shape size used by the dynamic grid.

If your drawing contains shapes of various sizes, you might need to experiment with the average shape size. If your shapes vary significantly, try using a smaller average shape size.

Connector to connector

Specifies the minimum amount of space between connectors when you use the Lay Out Shapes command or when you drag connectors.

Specifies the minimum amount of space between connectors and shapes when you use the Lay Out Shapes command or when you drag connectors.
