Play Together in Microsoft Teams (free) on Windows 11 is where you can connect with friends through voice and video chats. You can make a one-to-one call, continue a group chat, or start a new conversation.
First time using Play Together? We recommend following these steps in this order to start your game play.

If your Game Bar widget is out of focus or disappears, press the Windows logo key +G to recall it.

Start a call from your recent chat list
To start a call or group chat from your recent chat list, follow these steps:

Open the Game Bar widget, press Windows logo key +G.

Select the Play Together button on the Game Bar. Then select the Pin button at the top of your chat list to hold the widget in place as an overlay.

Select a chat from your list. If you start a call from a group chat, you'll call everyone in the group.

You can adjust your Camera , Mic , and Share content before you join the call.

Select Go live to start your call.
Start a new call or group chat
To start a new call or group chat, follow these steps:

Open the Game Bar Widget, press Windows logo key +G.

Select the Play Together button on the Game Bar. Then select the Pin button at the top of your chat list to hold the widget in place as an overlay.

Select Play together and do the following steps in this order.
a. Name your gaming group
In the chat, you'll see a prompt to Name your gaming group or use the default name provided.
b. Confirm to add the chat to your list
After you enter the name of your gaming group, select Confirm to add the group to your chat list or Cancel to exit without submitting any changes.

Select the new Play together chat from your recent list to start your call. Before joining, you can adjust your Camera , Mic , and Share content.

Select Go live to start your call.
