Merge duplicate contacts in Outlook

You can merge duplicate contacts using the suggested “Clean and organize” function on profile cards in Outlook on the web.

When you have possible duplicates in your contacts, Outlook on the web brings it to your attention through a notification on the profile card. The notification includes a suggestion to merge the duplicate contacts. Here’s an example of the suggestion:

When you select Clean and organize on the suggestion, the Contact tab displays. You can review the details of the possible duplicates, choose which ones to merge, be reminded later, or not merge the contacts.
