By default, web links in Outlook messages open in Microsoft Edge. When the link opens, the email message also opens in the Microsoft Edge sidebar pane so you can view the link target and the email or chat side-by-side.
To switch to a different browser:

In classic Outlook, select File > Open.

Select the Advanced tab.

Under File and browser preferences, select the list next to Open hyperlinks from Outlook in, then select Default Browser.
