Safely make Teams audio calls and join meetings on the road with Android Auto.

Set up Android Auto

Here's what you need to use Android Auto with Teams:

  • Vehicle that supports Android Auto

  • Android phone running Android 14 or newer

  • Teams app for Android (version released October 30, 2023 or later)

Connect your phone to your car using Bluetooth or a USB cable. Your phone’s screen should automatically appear on your car’s display with available Android apps. Tap the Teams app to get started. 

Join a meeting

Select the Meetings  Teams Calendar tab icon tab to view your meetings for the day. Tap a meeting to join.

  • All-day meetings aren't shown unless selected.

  • Meetings without Teams links can't be joined.

  • Only that day’s meetings will be displayed.

Place calls

There are two ways to place calls via Android Auto. Select the calls Audio call button tab to get started.

Speed Dial 

Select Speed Dial to bring up a list of contacts. Select one to call that person.

History 

Select History to see recent calls you’ve made and received. Choose any of those people to place a call to them.

Note: If Teams is installed in a Work Profile, users won't be able to use it until Android Auto supports Work Profile.
