Currently, there's an issue where Microsoft 365 email accounts are being disconnected from Apple Mail. Microsoft is aware of this issue and actively working to resolve it.

In the meantime, to resolve this issue, please follow these steps.

Re-enter your login credentials

  1. When prompted, click Edit Settings in the Apple Mail app and re-enter your login credentials.

  2. If you don't see the message in the Apple Mail app:

    1. Open the Settings app.

    2. Click on Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts.

    3. Re-enter your login credentials.

If the above does not work, please delete and re-add your Exchange account in the Apple Mail app by following the steps below.

Update your Microsoft 365 account in the Apple Mail app

  1. Delete your Microsoft 365 account from Apple Mail:

    1. Open the Settings app.

    2. Tap on Apps > Mail.

    3. Tap Mail Accounts > Exchange.

    4. At the bottom of the page, click Delete Account.

  2. Add your Microsoft 365 account to Apple Mail: 

    1. Open the Settings app.

    2. Tap on Apps > Mail. 

    3. Tap Mail Accounts > Add Account.

    4. Tap Microsoft Exchange and proceed to enter your credentials.
