If a deleted message isn't in the Deleted Items folder in classic Outlook for Windows, you may be able to get it from the server.Â

In the left pane, select the Deleted Items folder.Â

On the classic ribbon, select the Home tab, then select Recover Deleted Items from Server.Â

In the Recover Deleted Items dialog, select items to recover. (To choose multiple items, hold down the Ctrl key and select separate items; to choose a range, hold down the Shift key and select first and last items; or pick Select All.)

Check the Restore Selected Items option and then select OK.

If a deleted message isn't in the Deleted Items folder in new Outlook​​​​​​​, you still may be able to recover it.Â

In the left pane, select the Deleted Items folder.Â

At the top of the message list, select Recover items deleted from this folder.Â

Point at an item you want to recover, then select the check box next to the sender's name.

When you've selected all the items you want to recover, on the Home tab, select Restore.Â
Items are restored as follows:

Messages go to your inbox.

Calendar items go to your calendar.

Contacts go to your contacts folder.

Tasks go to your tasks folder.
