Select the text box.

On the Shape Format tab, selectÂ
 Shape Outline and choose No Outline. Text box gridlines show when selected, but disappear when selecting something else.

To delete the entire text box, select the edge of the box and press Delete.

Double-click inside the textbox to open Drawing dialog box.

In the canvas that opens, select the textbox.

On the Shape tab, select the down arrow next toÂ
 Shape Outline. -
Choose No Outline, then select Save and Close to exit. Text box gridlines show when selected, but disappear when selecting something else.
