Sorry, we couldn't download your Office license. Select the Repair Now button to download the license again and fix the issue.
If Repair Now doesn't work, or there is no Repair Now button, try these troubleshooting steps:

Close and re-open any Office app, and start the process again. If that doesn't work, wait awhile and try again.

Repair Office using the instructions in Repair an Office application. Be sure to select the option for Online Repair.

Did your Microsoft 365 subscription or trial expire? Check your subscription status by going to your Services & subscriptions page. If you see your subscription under Canceled subscriptions, you'll need to renew using the Renew link on the Services & subscriptions page.

There may be a conflict with multiple versions of Office installed on your PC. It's possible that Office came pre-installed on your PC and might need to be uninstalled so you can use your own copy of Office.

If you bought Office Professional Plus through the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program (formerly known as Home Use Program), you'll need to uninstall Microsoft 365 on this PC and then install or reinstall your Office product through Workplace Discount Program.

If you bought Office 2010 or Office 2007, you'll need to uninstall Microsoft 365 on this PC and then install Office 2010 or install Office 2007.

In an Office app, open a new document and then go to File > Account > Update options > Update now. This will install the latest updates, which may fix the issue. For help with updating Office, see Install Office updates.

If you're at work or school and use Microsoft 365 for business, contact your admin to request an Office license.
