Select the picture that you want to resize, then follow these guidelines:

To increase or decrease the size in one or more directions, drag a sizing handle away from or toward the center.

To maintain the proportions as you resize, drag a corner sizing handle.

To keep the center of the image in the same place as you resize, press and hold Ctrl while you drag the sizing handle.

To resize a picture to an exact width and height, go to the Picture Format tab on the ribbon, and in the Size group, enter new measurements for your picture.
