You are prompted to restart Microsoft 365 whenever you or your IT administrator has changed privacy settings that affect this device or another device that's synchronized to this device.
We cannot apply the new settings to services that are currently running, so you must restart Microsoft 365 for the changes to be applied -- after which you can resume using the applications. You must restart all currently runningĀ apps for the updated privacy settings to take effect. Simply exit the Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Outlook, etc.) and restart them.
