Word for Microsoft 365 Word for Microsoft 365 for Mac Word for the web

  1. Select the picture and, on the Picture Format tab that appears, select  Rotate objects button Rotate. 

  2. Select a standard rotation, like  Rotate left button Rotate Left 90º or Flip horizontal button Flip Horizontal, or choose More Rotation Options button More Rotation Options to enter a custom rotation.

Tip: To rotate manually, select the picture and drag the Rotation handle button rotation handle at the top of the image.
