In a message in classic Outlook, select and then right-click the image.

Select Save as, choose where to save your file, and select Save.

To save an attached image in classic Outlook, right-click the attachment, and select Save as.

Note: You may not be able to save an image that's also a link. Instead, use the Windows Snipping Tool to capture the image. For more info, see Use Snipping Tool to capture screenshots.
You can save an image that has been attached or has been embedded inline in new Outlook:

Embedded: In the message, right-click the embedded image and select Save image as. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the file, then select Save.

Attached: Point at the attached file, then click the down arrow that appears. SelectÂ
 Save to OneDrive to save the image to the cloud, or select  Download to save the file to your device.
