Switch views during a video call

In Teams for your personal life, you can switch your views during a video call. 

  1. To switch views during a video call:

    • On mobile: Select the More actions Microsoft Teams more options icon menu, then select either Meeting views or Change layout.

    • On desktop: Select the Change view The Gallery view icon in Teams for desktop  icon.

  2. Select the option you would like:

    • Gallery  The Gallery view icon in Teams for desktop  view - This is the default view when joining a meeting on desktop or mobile.

    • Large gallery The Large gallery icon in Teams for desktop  view - This will show up to 49 participants, in a 7x7 arrangement. This option is available when at least ten people have their cameras turned on. 

    • Together mode  The Together mode icon in Teams for desktop - This layout gives your call the feel of everyone working together in a virtual space. Together mode is available when there are at least five people in the meeting. 

  3. You can change your view at any time during the video call.
