Turn Dark Mode on or off

1. On the File menu select Options.

2. In the dialog box that appears, select the General tab.

3. From the Office Themes drop-down, select Black.

To switch to dark mode in OneNote for the web, you need to change the settings of your browser.

1. In Microsoft Edge, select  Settings and more in the top right, or press Alt+F

2. On the Settings menu, select Appearance and choose Dark.

For other modern browsers, check their help or settings for similar options.

1. On the OneNote menu, select Preferences. 

2. Choose General and under Personalize, select or clear Turn off Dark Mode.
