ISSUE
Location field update for a single instance of a recurring event, using Exchange On-Prem Mailboxes, doesn't sync with Outlook Mobile Calendar.
DETAILS
While syncing events in Outlook Mobile with Exchange On-Prem Mailbox, updates to the event's location are partially saved. The Enhanced Location field responsible for updated locations isn't properly updated during sync.
As a result, the old location appears when reading the event, giving the impression that the location isn't updated in Outlook Mobile.
This issue is limited only to Exchange On-Prem Mailboxes with Hybrid Modern Authentication implementation.
STATUS: INVESTIGATING
This is a feature gap in the Exchange Online environment cache system used by Outlook Mobile to sync data from Exchange On-Prem.
Dev will implement new code to save the Enhanced Location property of an event to the store during syncing to Exchange On-Prem mailboxes.
WORKAROUND
Update the event location using Outlook Mobile rather than other clients.
