Use To Do with your keyboard and a screen reader to show and manage your Microsoft Planner tasks in To Do. We have tested it with Narrator, JAWS, and NVDA, but it might work with other screen readers as long as they follow common accessibility standards and techniques.

Sign in to To Do with the same personal, work, or school account that you use for Planner.

Press F6 until you hear "Sidebar, user menu," followed by your username, and then press Enter. You hear: "Pop-up window, manage accounts."

Press the Down arrow key until you hear "Settings," and then press Enter. The Settings window opens.

Switch your screen reader to virtual navigation, and then press the Down arrow key until you hear: "Assigned to me, toggle switch, off." To switch on the Assigned to me option, press Spacebar.

In the Settings window, to connect Planner with To Do, press the Down arrow key until you hear "Planner, toggle switch, off," and then press Spacebar.

To exit the Settings window, press the Tab key or Shift+Tab until you hear "Go back," and then press Enter. The focus returns to the To Do main view.

Sign in to To Do with the same personal, work, or school account that you use for Planner.

Press Command+Comma (,) to open the To Do Preferences window.

Press Shift+Tab until you hear "Entering toolbar, Connected apps," and then press Control+Option+Spacebar. You hear: "Table, no selection." The focus is on a table listing the connected apps.

Press Control+Option+Shift+Down arrow to enter the apps table.

Press Control+Option+Up or Down arrow key until you hear "Planner, Tasks assigned to you in Planner unchecked checkbox," and then press Control+Option+Spacebar to select.

To exit the Preferences window, press Command+W. The focus returns to the To Do main view.
